On the afternoon of May 12, 2008, the violent 8-magnitude earthquake hits Wen Chuan, Sichuan Province, which affected 16 provinces and municipalities in China. Above 40000 confirmed dead, 32000 missing and 5 million homeless caused shake the Chinese's heart deeply.
By the next day, Jeson had assigned by Chinese Liberation Army to deploy technicians carrying six Flyaway satellite communication equipments to quake-stricken area in the rescue actions. The Flyaway satellite systems were installed respectively in rural of Chengdu, Dujiangyan and Wen Chuan. The equipments provided by Jeson transmit the latest information of video and telephony frequency through-out satellite communication systems to Beijing to help with the search, rescue and recovery effort in quake zone.
The flyaway satellite communication system went through the test of aftershocks and atrocious weather and succor the telecommunication quality of emergency use. The features were automatic satellite acquisition with one push button, clearly and stably data and voice transmission that means state of the art technology in telecommunication.
Mr. Qiu Jian, General Manager of Jeson Wireless, call for all the staffs to raise a donation for the victims of the earthquake in Sichuan Province. In addition to those rescuers in the front line of recovery work, Jeson donated several microwave communication systems to China Mobile in Sichuan area. Most of all, Jeson sincerely wishes that survivors will soon overcome the difficulties from the tragedy and rebuild their homes. |
